We're thrilled to share that Ciel (@ciel_tattoos), founder and lead artist at Wild Crane Tattoos, has won 1st Place – Best Micro Realism Tattoo at the 2026 Ink the 6ix Tattoo Expo. The judges honoured this delicate strawberry piece with the top spot in its category — and the client who carried the winning work took home a matching keepsake plaque to remember the moment by.

The Winning Micro Realism Tattoo: Strawberry Meets Gemstone

The award-winning tattoo is a delicate forearm design that splits a single strawberry into two worlds. One half is a lifelike, sun-ripened strawberry — soft seed texture, deep reds, and a natural blush. The other half transforms into a faceted red gemstone, each cut catching light like a cushion-set ruby. A fine dotted line threads through the composition, giving the small-scale piece a sense of quiet, jewelry-like elegance.

It's the kind of work micro realism tattoo is made for: extreme detail packed into a compact area, where every seed, facet, and highlight has to be exactly right. 获奖作品：草莓与宝石的交融

这枚获奖纹身位于小臂，将一颗草莓拆解成两个世界。一半是逼真的成熟草莓——柔软的籽粒质感、饱满的红色与自然的果面光泽；另一半则化作一颗多切面的红色宝石，每一个切面都如枕形切割的红宝石般折射光线。一条精致的点状线贯穿其中，让这件小尺寸作品散发出如珠宝般的静谧优雅。
